Sobre este curso

The study of morphosyntax is essential for experienced English teachers, as it deepens their linguistic knowledge. A detailed understanding of the relationship between morphological forms and syntactic structures enhances their ability to analyze and explain complex grammatical phenomena with greater precision.

Furthermore, mastery of morphosyntax supports more effective grammar instruction, particularly in linguistically diverse settings. It enables teachers to identify student error patterns and adapt their teaching to meet individual needs, fostering more inclusive and responsive instruction.

This knowledge also strengthens teachers’ ability to design and assess curricula and evaluations, effectively bridging theory and practice. It encourages reflective teaching, continuous professional growth, and stronger academic engagement within collaborative educational contexts.

Metodología

The course uses a blended, interactive format that combines theory with practical application. Through lectures, discussions, and analysis of authentic language data, participants will critically explore morphosyntactic concepts. Emphasis on problem-based learning and hands-on activities—such as error analysis and micro-teaching—supports reflective practice and the application of knowledge to real classroom contexts. Peer feedback and self-reflection will play a central role in promoting professional development.
