Dialogue School

The Dialogue School is a training program carried out in collaboration with the ESQUEL Foundation and the Continuing Training Department of the University of Azuay. Today, they officially present their third cohort of participants.

The School of Dialogue (EDD) is a training space that proposes to strengthen the capacities of citizens from different sectors of society around the understanding of the conflict and identification of peaceful ways to process and resolve it. Within this framework, we bet that those who participate begin their training as managers of dialogue processes who have key knowledge and tools to understand and promote spaces for dialogue in their localities.

This initiative is part of the National Dialogues Program and is implemented by the Esquel Foundation and the University of Azuay with the support and financing of the European Union. The School of Dialogue has the goal of contributing to the training of 300 people between 2023 and 2024, for which it will have three cohorts throughout this period. Each of the cohorts will be open to certain provinces of Ecuador, covering until 2024 the 24 provinces of the country.
