Objectives and methodology

Objectives:

Objective

- Know the new technologies and maintenance processes of different systems equipped in modern vehicles.

Specific objectives

- Update technical knowledge applied to automotive maintenance.

- Know different applications of the oscilloscope and other equipment for automotive diagnosis.

- Know the applications of thermography in the field of automotive maintenance

 Course methodology

Within the face-to-face component (20 hours) the teacher will present theoretical technical content related to the technology of different systems of the modern vehicle, in addition to demonstrating the technical procedures for the diagnosis of sensors, and diagnosis and adjustment of actuators, as practices. of workshop. At the beginning of the module, the use of the oscilloscope as a diagnostic tool will be known. Students will carry out practices in private vehicles, with the advice of the teacher - tutor. As an additional resource, all students will need to independently purchase access to the platform “elected” where they will carry out different diagnostic and repair simulation exercises of the automotive systems studied. Students will also carry out the autonomous component (20 hours) on this platform, where they will solve various previously configured problems.

Duration

Duration: 40 hours (20 contact hours and 20 hours of autonomous work).
