Design Thinking Facilitation Certification with Element4

The power of Design Thinking for innovation processes is not in dispute. The challenge is to get the work team to come up with proposals that combine novelty, attractiveness and feasibility. And that the team does not get lost along the way!

The key lies in a good facilitation of the work sessions in which the Design Thinking tools are deployed with Element4, which helps you trace the team's path in its innovation challenges.

Objectives:

• Select and display work dynamics to enter "Mode Design Thinking".
• Capture the principles that advance the energy of an innovation team.
• Understand the Design Thinking process and its stages.
• Observe which activities are convergent and which are divergent.
• Knowing how to choose the right tool for each moment of our Design Thinking route.
• Understand the role we have as facilitators in the team guide.
• Apply the flexibility that an open process such as Design Thinking requires, detecting when to change direction.
• Visualize the use of all the experience lived in the workshop.
• Choose your contribution to the community of facilitators that you are going to join.

Methodology:

Given that the activity is aimed at generating confidence in the participant's ability to facilitate sessions of high impact and effectiveness in working with Design Thinking, the entire workshop has a practical approach.

For this reason, the groups are not very numerous, since each participant receives enough feedback to advance in their facilitating capacity.

On the other hand, a minimum number of participants is necessary, so that it is practiced with teams similar in size to those of a real intervention.

For this reason, the groups must be made up of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 participants.

Through the dynamics practices of the Element4 Kit, we will get to know each other and understand what we need to deploy to be successful in Design Thinking sessions.

Using a realistic scenario we will begin to use tools and understand how to get the most out of them.

• Practical

We continue to practice other techniques, with the difference that now each participant takes the leadership of the team as a facilitator.

From that experience you will reflect and receive feedback invaluable to know how to improve your skills in group management. Seeing how your colleagues receive comments and suggestions is equally enriching for you.

• I contribute and I belong

You will experience a true team spirit that we don't want to fade when the workshop is over.

We will see what the community is like Element 4 (virtual network of facilitators) and how we are going to handle contributions to that community so that you get the most out of your membership.

We will clarify all the doubts that you have about how to use everything that is inside the KIT Professional of Item4.

Once the activities and requirements for the development of the course have been fulfilled, the participants will receive the certificate of "Design Thinking Facilitator with Element4", based on what is established in the Regulations of the Continuous Training Department, that is, that the participant obtains a minimum 70% in academic evaluation and 80% attendance.

Open to anyone who needs to better understand the "what" and "for what" of Design Thinking, learning the "how". However, it will be much more productive if attendees have experience in production processes or professionals related to the design of products and services.
