Description
This proposal is framed in the need to offer the community, processes of professionalization of public management, in this case, by providing tools for decision-making in the field of organizational design of the municipal decentralized autonomous governments. The intention of offering a massive open online course aims to generate the widest possible dissemination of the proposed tools without restricting them to the scope of the region in which the university provides services and to obtain a greater impact on the dissemination of professionalizing knowledge such as that is shared with this course.

Objectives and methodology
General objective:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to understand and handle the main concepts and tools to manage beneficial organizational designs for local governments that allow increasing the impact of public management in the territories.
Specific objectives
- Understand the modern roles of the State and its possible reforms.
- Understand the sub-national levels of the State and their responsibilities.
- Identify the different forms of organization available to configure decentralized autonomous governments.
- Propose specific designs for decentralized autonomous governments based on their own territorial characteristics.

Certificates
Once the activities and requirements for the development of the course have been fulfilled, the participants will receive the certificate of approval of the Course "Organizational Design of Local Governments", based on what is established in the Regulations of the Department of Continuing Education, that is, that the participant obtains a minimum of 70% in the academic evaluation in each module.
