Objectives and methodology

General Objective:

Encourage in teachers critical reflection on the new ways of learning by students through the development of competences directed to virtual learning environments (VLE) and accompanying students in their training process mediated by ICT.

Specific objectives:

  • Reflect on the impact of ICT in education and its curricular integration, from a humanistic perspective.
  • Design your virtual chairs.
  • Train in the use of the tools offered by ICT in their chairs.

Methodology

The shared learning system that we propose will collect the best of the face-to-face and the virtual in what is called the b-learning (blended learning), which will allow us to rescue the importance of face-to-face contact and the benefits of information and communication technologies. In addition, it will make it possible to contribute to the change in educational philosophy, which goes from being focused on teaching (teacher activity) to focusing on learning (construction of students).

The UDA virtual classroom is based on a Web platform called Moodle (Modular objectorientddistancelearningenviroment) that allows students and teachers to expand their interactivity, access pages on the Internet, use e-mail as a tool for learning, access content with hypertext format, participate in forums, chats and virtual classes.

Students will carry out virtual tutoring simulations and virtual chair design in a classroom prepared for this purpose. In addition, they will experience each of the virtual tools and the pedagogical proposal of our virtual learning environment.

Virtual Tutoring:

Tutoring is the communication space to design agreements, individual or group plans, trajectories and academic strategies so that each individual who is being trained is much more competent. (Guadalajara)

The tutoring is aimed at revitalizing the teaching practice, providing participants with personalized or group attention during their training process, thus allowing clear and timely detection of factors that may affect the academic performance of the participants, the tutor is co-manager of the participants, which helps both in global training and in knowledge management.

The tutorials will be carried out through the Zoom and Meet videoconferencing platforms (Frequent inquiries from participants, concerns, etc.)
