Objectives and methodology
- Become familiar with the basic structures of the Matlab and R tools.
- Know the basic commands to use the tools.
- Create procedures and functions to automate and repeat processes to solve exercises outlined in Linear Algebra.
Methodology
On the first date, people who take this course must follow a tutorial of the tools. As of the second date, the use of tools in solving algebra exercises will be deepened. To finish the course, functions and procedures must be performed to solve the exercises set out in the base book.

Certificates
- Global evaluation equal to or greater than 70%
- Minimum attendance of 80% to face-to-face classes
- Minimum participation of 80% in the virtual platform
To participants who pass the course, the University of Azuay will issue a Certificate of Approval for 32 hours.
