Scheduled activities:

  • Use of tools for clay sculpture.
  • Application of basic processes and techniques of Japanese ceramics.
  • Ideation and sketching on paper.
  • Sculpture work in clay.

At the end of the course, each of the participants will have carried out a sculptural work, which will collect the evidence of the individual and collective production of the course, and must also be accompanied by a final report that compiles the process.

Methodology:

The classes will be given in the ceramic workshop, the teacher will lead her class following a theoretical - practical methodology in which the participatory gaze of the students will be the best complement and will enrich the knowledge imparted.

It will also take advantage of technological resources to make classes much more enriching.

In the development of the course, the student will be motivated by generating expectations based on the learning objective.

The concepts will be put into practice, presenting the use of Japanese techniques, continuously seeking the active participation of students in each class.

We cannot forget that these classes allow to put the student's sensitivity at the highest level, this being a valuable contribution in the result obtained.

Recipients


Ceramic teachers, students and professionals who wish to expand their knowledge of Japanese pottery techniques.

certification:

To participants who pass the course, the University of Azuay will issue a certificate of approval for 42 hours.

Timeline:

The class schedule will be from 18:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, for 14 business days.

Teacher:

Yoko Ueno, Japanese ceramist, collaborator of CIDAP.

Price:

The course has a cost of $ 80.00 (eighty dollars) per participant. Includes inscription, 15 kilos of clay, a wooden base, 2mts. nylon cord and certified.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of ceramics.
