Virtual Teacher Training

The proposed curriculum for the training of virtual teachers is integrated by 2 modules:

1 Module: Socialization and introduction to the contents of the non-contact subjects of the University of Azuay.

Module 2: Management of the virtual learning environment of the University of Azuay. Information and Communication Technologies in Education. Virtual learning and tutoring.

Teachers of the University of Azuay who wish to be professors tutors of the subjects Ethics, Anthropology and Reading and Academic Writing.

To the participants who pass the course, meeting all academic requirements (70%) and attendance at face-to-face classes (80%), the University of Azuay, through the Continuing Education department, will issue a certificate of approval for 60 hours , recognized by the Academic Commission as a course for updating and training teachers, which will allow them to be teachers in the subject in which they passed the course.

Price:

The course has a cost of $ 180.00 per participant. Includes registration, materials and certificate. 

The University of Azuay sponsors the 60% of the total value to its teachers, administrators and students, conditional on its approval. The cost of this course will be $ 70.00. 

Two installments of 35.00 dollars each in the months of July and August.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of computing.
