Scheduled activities

The following activities will be developed, among others:

- Mini lectures on specific topics of the course.

- Individual and research works, which must be supported by the participants in the plenary sessions.

- Work in cooperative learning groups: the results will be presented to colleagues during the course.

- Works in virtual learning environments

IMPORTANT: At the end of the course, each of the teachers will have built their teaching portfolio (which can be physical or digital), which will collect the evidence of the individual and collective production of the course.

Methodology

The course will be developed in a virtual modality (36 hours), and face-to-face (24 hours), with a duration of 60 hours. During this time, the various activities that will allow learning in the management of the different resources of the platform will be regulated.

It will be developed around a central project in which the teacher will be assigned a test course in the EVA, so that there they can begin the assembly of their course and practice with each of the resources that we will be reviewing.

There will be face-to-face meetings, where the basic concepts of the platform will be reviewed, the remaining hours must be addressed independently during the week following face-to-face hours, at this time the teacher must finish the assembly of the course on the platform. In this independent work, the teacher must have autonomy with knowledge and discipline at work.

To approach the study of each module, we must follow the following order:

- Review the learning guide for the module.

- Review the study material of the module.

- Review the supplementary material.

- Carry out the learning activity.

OBSERVATION: If the teacher requires it, they can request a meeting with the course tutors to learn how to configure the activities that will be part of their EVA, which were not reviewed in the face-to-face classes.

COMMUNICATION:

Communication will be asynchronous through:

Forum of difficulties, concerns: where difficulties, concerns and suggestions regarding the operation of the course can be expressed.

News forum: through which the teachers of the course will send information about the development of the course

Inbox: It is a service similar to e-mail that is used while within the EVA environment and that allows communication between two interlocutors of the course and that, in addition, preserves all the history.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

All evaluation activities will be reviewed and graded by the tutors. The certificate will be awarded to colleagues who obtain 70 points from the total of the activities.

Any participant who obtains a score lower than the value of the activity will receive an orientation on how to improve it and must resubmit said activity, in the indicated times.

In each of the learning modules, a Guide will be presented that indicates what to do in the unit, the support materials with the explanations for the management of the resources and self-evaluation questionnaires on the topics covered.

Evaluation Follow-up

Evaluation criteria:

In this course, evaluation is conceived as a continuous and permanent process that will allow fair and equitable value judgments to be made; for this, the analysis of the activities and works carried out by the students will be considered. The percentage distribution will be as follows:

Activity Weighting

Individual work 30%

Group work 25%

Academic forum participation 10%

Final work 30%

Self assessment 5%

The qualification is done by teachers on a scale of 0 to 100 points and to pass it each student must obtain the grade of at least 70 / 100 (seventy out of a hundred), and minimal attendance at 80% of face-to-face meetings.

IMPORTANT: If the teacher does not approve the course, they must cancel the total cost of the course, including the values subsidized by the collaborating institutions (UDA, Asunción), the value will be: $ 180.
